The Jewel comprises of a normal Compass and Square, with a fixed "G"
and is suspended from a series of silver chain links.

Short History of Warrant No. 275.
Warrant No. 275 issued to brethren in GORT, Co. Galway on the 5th January 1757 and was cancelled by Order of Grand Lodge on the 7th October 1813.
Warrant No. 275 reissued to brethren in DUNGANNON, Co. Tyrone on the 6th April 1820 and was cancelled on the 7th February 1833.
Warrant No. 275 reissued to `Windsor Social Lodge' in WINDSOR, New South Wales, Australia on the 18th February 1843. In 1886 the Brethren of Windsor Social Lodge No. 275 exchanged their Warrant No. 275 for Warrant No. 2160 English Constitution “Richard Coley Lodge”, the Warrant being dated 17th May, 1886. The Lodge is still at Labour but now under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory, Warrant No. 152.

History of Sidon Lodge No. 275, 1899 - to date.
The Minutes of the Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes dated 2nd October 1899 show concerning Warrant No. 275 -
"2 October, 1899 - Read Memorial from Bros. Russell, Moore, McKnight and 22 others praying for a Warrant to establish a Lodge in Belfast to be called the “Sidon.” Recommended by Lodges 255, 97, 258 and by the P.D.G. Master of Antrim. Regular fee enclosed. The Board recommended the issue of a Warrant to the applicants to be numbered 275."
The Recommendation of The Board was followed, as is shown in the Grand Lodge Minutes of 5th October 1897 as "Confirmed"
Series three Vol. 8 of the extant Grand Lodge Registers shows -
"Warrant No. 275 to Belfast as “Sidon Lodge”, 9 October, 1899.Thomas Russell (513); Robert S. Moore (103) and Thomas McKnight (513) registered together with 23 others from various Lodges, 9 October, 1899. No indication as to Master or Wardens. A further fourteen brethren from various lodges registered 17 October, 1899."
A total of 58 brethren registered up to 1st August, 1900. In most cases the dates when the degrees were conferred and the issue of certificates is shown.
This Lodge presented "a very massive Gold Albert and Jewel to Br. A.G. Meek, P.M." in January, 1904.
This Lodge presented "a jewel of special design to Br. Robert M'Kee, P.M.," in January, 1906.
Thirteen members of Sidon Lodge No. 275 served in the 1914 -18 War andBro. R. Blakley made the supreme sacrifice.
A total of 296 brethren registered up to 7th November, 1923. In most cases the dates when the issue of certificates is shown, together with the occupation of the brother.
Series five Vol. 18 shown as Vol. 2 of the extant Grand Lodge Register commences with the registration of William Magill, Const. RUC, registered on the 5th December, 1923.
A total of 120 brethren registered up to 2nd October, 1952. In most cases the dates when the issue of certificates is shown, together with the occupation of the brother.
Series six Vol. 21 of the extant Grand Lodge Register commences with the registration of J. S. R., Draftsman, registered 5th May, 1953.
The Minutes of the Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes dated 11th November, 1976 show concerning Sidon Lodge No. 275 -
"11 November, 1976 – The Board granted permission for Lodge No. 275 to change its place of meeting from Belfast to Carnmoney, Co. Antrim."
A total of 90 brethren registered up to 3rd October, 1984. In most cases the dates when the issue of certificates is shown, together with the occupation of the brother.

"14 May, 1998 – Change of place of meeting to Whiteabbey Masonic Centre."
From 1984 the registration of members of Sidon Lodge No. 275 is held, in alphabetical order, in a computerised register by Grand Lodge, Freemasons’ Hall, 17 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. The Registration of the Worshipful Master, Wardens and Secretary of Lodges are held in separate Registers, the first Volume covering the period 1983 to 1994 inclusive and the second Volume covering from 1995 to date.
At the meeting of Grand Lodge held on Monday, 27th December, 2010 the Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes noted with regret, for reporting to Grand Lodge, the return of the Warrant of Sidon Masonic Lodge No. 275.
