A very ornate gold unnamed Past Master's Jewel suspended from
a sky blue ribbon by two gold and blue enamel bars.
The top bar has in gold letters in the blue enamel, the name of the Lodge, "Raylton - Shamrock".
Centred on the ribbon is a scroll style plaque with the word "Primus" in gold in the blue enamel. The word "Primus" normally refers to a presiding bishop (from the Latin, "Pri" meaning "first"), however in this instance it is being used in the context of a Latin Ordinal Number, meaning "First" and it refers to the Worshipful Master as the "First" Worshipful Master of the Lodge. The bottom bar has in gold letters in the blue enamel, the number, "Lodge No. 619 I.C". |

The Compass and Square is a standard Past Master's Jewel in gold, with a suspended gold "G" in blue enamel on a gold tear-drop plaque. Whereas the reverse of jewel of the Jewel is blank as to the recipient, it would have belonged to the first Past Master, who as you will see from below would have been Thomas H. Bryant. The Maker's Mark "RS", and "Spencer London" is to be found on the rear of the Jewel. |
