The M. W. The Grand Lodge ~ Bronze 275th Anniversary Jewel

In the Millennium year, 2000, the M.W. The Grand Lodge of Ireland celebrated its 275th anniversary and to mark the occasion the above medal was struck.

This Jewel is a bronze "antique" finish version of the limited silver edition and the number of bronze jewels issued was 5000.

The jewel is suspended on a white ribbon with Saint Patrick’s Cross embroidered thereon.

On the obverse of the jewel is a portrait of the 1st Earl of Rosse, Richard Parsons, January 1702 - 26th June, 1741 who served as the first recorded Grand Master in 1725.

On the reverse is the coat of arms of the M.W. Grand Lodge of Ireland as on the silver version.
